Self care

I was talking to a patient on friday before I left work. She informed me her sister was going back to the hospital. Come to find out they sent her sister home with a colon collapse.  What is wrong with the hospitals? They never should of sent her home. She needs to have surgery. She is having surgery now, but they should of done that before they sent her home. Now she has an infection that is going to take time to clear up. This is the same thing I been hearing about from a lot of people the hospital don't have time to even look at patients. Why? Doctors go to school to help people not for the system to tell them otherwise. They refuse to do there job. It drives me crazy to not see the care that people need.

When covid happened care to patients went down hill. they shut down all medical offices. We had so many people die (not from covid) but because doctors were told to close offices. You couldn't even be seen for a runny nose you had to go to the hospital. Then when everything started to get normal everyone got fired. now we lost great doctors and nurses. Health care needs to go back to the way it use to be, not the way it is. This is not the new normal I won't stand for it. I ngot in the medical field to help not be told I can't.

That's why we started this (Direct Primary Care) to help. Insurance companies can not at all tells us NO. What we say goes. The patient tells us what they want and we make it work. Remember we pay the doctors not them. We keep them in business not insurance. Its money we put in for working our butts off day after day. same with the government. Everyone needs to stand together, stand up for what is right. Don't back down just because you are told too. America is the land of the free because of the people.

That next time you go to the hospital tell them what you want not the other way around. Make sure you speak up. Don't let them tell you any different. Make them listen to what you have to say keep them in the room by asking questions, don't let them leave until all your questions answered. Trust me I did it before. Please care about your health make them care about your health.
