West Branch DPC

I stared working for Sally Jo Sperbeck D.O. Ph.D., FACOI Internal Medicine Physician at the end of January 2022. She opened a new Medical office in West Branch Michigan the beginning of 2022. The name is West Branch DPC. (I had no Idea what the DPC was). DPC stands for Direct Primary Care. It is a membership based model of healthcare where members pay a fixed, monthly fee to receive unrestricted access to their Primary Care Doctor. We keep cost low because we don't accept health insurance. We offer high-quality care to adults and geriatric patients. This includes chronic disease management (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc), mental health,  urgent care, sports medicine, medical weight loss, and annual physicals.

Dr. Sperbeck has worked in West Branch Michigan for more than ten years. She opened her own independent practice based on the model of Direct Primary Care. This is a health care model of putting patient first by getting rid of the red tape that contains traditional practices. Dr. Sperbeck is board certified in Osteopathic Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Wound Care.

I have been in the Medical field for 16 years. I have worked for hospitals based and privately owned offices. I'm certified in Medical Assistant, HBO, wound care, PFT, Phlebotomy, and x-ray. With my background and Dr. Sperbeck background we believe we can change health care for patients that need to get back to the way it should be.

We work for the patients not Health Insurance. We will not charge extra for more time even if you just stop in to talk about medications or life. We understand that patients have jobs, family, and responsibilities.  That's why you can call us 24/7/365 at no extra cost. We care about the community and where we live that why we want more people to understand what Direct Primary Care is about.

Direct Primary Care:

Your Physician works for you.

The patient/physician relationship is valued.

Panel is limited to 600 patients per doctor.

Appointments are as long as needed.

Average time 30 minutes to an hour.

One low monthly fee. No copays for office visits.

Pricing is transparent and easy to understand.

Preventative, acute and chronic medical care when you need them. As often as you need them.

Same day/next day appointments with your doctor.

24/7/365 access.

All of that adds up to everyone getting the best care ever and even living a longer healthier life. We won't send you to the hospital or urgent care if we can treat you in office or even over the phone. Unless you need to go for things we can't fix in office. All of this is how medicine should be, not the why it is now. I even had it happen to me, I had a cold and I was told to go to urgent care because they didn't have time for a cold. We will always have time for everyone no matter what is going on.
