DPC

     We had our Ribbon-Cutting Friday. It was so nice to have so many people here that care about the community and us. I would love to thank West Branch Chamber of Commerce for the help and support. Heather is the greatest she help us in so many ways. She was there to answer every question we had. They do so much for the community. West Branch has the best support group I have ever seen. 

    Efter seeing the post on facebook asking what is DPC I would like to explain a little more.The Direct Primary Care (DPC) model is a practice and payment model where patients/consumers pay their physician or practice directly in the form of periodic payments for a defined set of primary care services. DPC practices typically charge patients a flat monthly or annual fee, under terms of a contract, in exchange for access to a broad range of primary care and medical administrative services. The DPC practice framework includes any practice model structured around direct contracting with patients/consumers for monthly or annual fees which serve to replace the traditional system of third party insurance coverage for primary care services. Typically, these periodic payments provide patients enhanced services over traditional fee-for-service medicine. Such services may include real time access via advanced communication technology to their personal physician, extended visits, in some cases home-based medical visits, and highly personalized, coordinated, and comprehensive care administration. The AAFP supports the physician and patient choice to, respectively, provide and receive healthcare in any ethical healthcare delivery system model, including the DPC practice-setting.

Social Media/red light therapy

 I'm not young anymore let me just put that out there. We are trying to do more with social media (Twitter/instagram/facebook/snapchat). We hope this will bring in more patients. I'm a little lost trying know things with social media. Self care

      I was talking to a patient on friday before I left work. She informed me her sister was going back to the hospital. Come to find out they sent her sister home with a colon collapse.  What is wrong with the hospitals? They never should of sent her home. She needs to have surgery. She is having surgery now, but they should of done that before they sent her home. Now she has an infection that is going to take time to clear up. This is the same thing I been hearing about from a lot of people the hospital don't have time to even look at patients. Why? Doctors go to school to help people not for the system to tell them otherwise. They refuse to do there job. It drives me crazy to not see the care that people need.      When covid happened care to patients went down hill. they shut down all medical offices. We had so many people die (not from covid) but because doctors were told to close offices. You couldn't even be seen for a runny nose you had to go to the hospital. Then when
