Grateful

I'm so grateful to have Dr Sperbeck. I have had some health problems for the past 7 years and no one can find what was wrong. She has went above and beyond to help me. I found out 3 weeks ago I have Sjogrens Syndrome. Which makes a lot of sense after doing research on it.  I have done different blood work with in the past 7 years. Most of the time everything came back normal. She had me do a whole different lab panel that even I never heard of. (Side note I have been in the medical field for 16yrs.) It broke ANA test down in like 20 different categories. My ANA is borderline. Which that means negative in the lab world, But when its broken down you can seen what marker is high. That's how we found out. Yes it sucks knowing that I have something that won't just go away with medication. I'm so happy to have an answer. Most of the time for patients that's what we need, an answer. It was always so hurtful to hear your labs are normal when you know this is not normal. I ...

Need Affordable Health Care???

Everyone needs affordable health care. Some need it because of lack of money coming in or maybe to much going out because of det. Whatever the outcome Direct Primary Care can help with that. Its a low monthly payment and most of your medication is at a discount price. How could you bet that? How much do you send on your health insurance now? I think everyone should add up how much they spend on their medical care every month. With that being said me personally I seen a DPC doctor im on two medications and I just had blood work done, I sent only $80 this month on a full physical with everything done. When I had health insurance I did a full physical that did not include all labs, EKG, or a breathing test, that physical cost me $463. That a $ 383 savings. HELLO wake up people and that was only a month think about in a year on how much I just saved. Insurance will tell you, "you get one free physical a year". That's only to see the doctor. That appointment is only 10 mins l...

Seminar

I have not wrote a Blog in over a month. I was upset with Facebook for taking them down even when they were not bad. I now decided that I should not let my opinion matter. As long as I put DPC first  so thats what im doing. I have made DPC part of my life now.  We are doing a seminar in October to talk about DPC. I hope this will help others. Kory Agency is joining us. They have been a big help to a lot of our patience all ready. We have plans that will save you money and time. We are calling the seminar "Need Affordable Health Care".  It's only a month away from choosing your health coverage for 2023. It time we start reaching out to the ones that cant get affordable health care. We don't care why you don't have health insurance. All we care about is how can we help.  I will be posting more about this for the next month, so stay tuned. I hope to see a lot of new people at this seminar.

Terrific Tuesday

It's Tuesday take time for yourself even if it's only 10 mins. Think about what you want out of life. Plans for your future. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? In 5 years I hope to be able to have more time for myself my boys will be grown, hopefully be independent. I do make time for myself but there are days it would be nice to have more of that. Don't get me wrong I love my kids more then anything but a little space here and there. I love doing thing with my family. It hard to get them all together at once. One is working, one loves his phone, and my baby feels left out he is to young to hang with big brothers. At the same time he is too old to hang with mom all day.  I was the youngest I understand how he feels. He is still in the stage were he don't know what he likes, he is trying new thing but he gives up to fast if it dont go his way. He looks at thing so different then the others he is the hugging loving kid. Everything is rainbows and puppy dogs, until it ...

Mindful Monday

Start the week out with an open mind. Try new things, you never know you might like something. I cleaned my living room and dining room yesterday and changed things around. We all need to look at different thing. It feels so wide and open now. I would of never thought it would of made such a big difference if I wouldn't of tried it. My husband wasn't happy at first but then he realized that it wasn't cramped any more. Open your mind up even if other people don't like it right a way they will come around. Sometimes thing are hard to proses at first but then we get used to it. We have to learn to live outside of the bubble we created. It not easy to be a hermit. I'm a homebody I love my house and my family. So we stay home alot. We all need to change things around make is more interesting. I opened my mind now you all should try it.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for my family and friends that stand behind me. I have been learning new thing about Direct Primary Care today thing I thought I already new but there is more to it then people know. I have been in the medical field for 16 almost 17 years now and never heard of HITECH law until today. It's a little different than HIPAA, but the same. It started when everything went to EMR system. Well before that but more people are talking more about is now because of EMR. To make it easy for everyone to understand it helps protect us from the health insurance. So if we go to the hospital because of a surgery, you don't have to use your insurance if you can get a better rate doing cash. Under HITECH law the hospital is not allowed to release your info to your health insurance.  I love learning new things. I'm so thankful for this new job with Dr. Sally Sperbeck I learn new thing every day working with her. DPC is new to me so I know it can be complicated to explain. When you...

Wellness Wednesday!!!

What you go through each day doesn't define your worth. Never let a bad day be the excuse to stop trying. Better days are coming. Your worthy and enough. Ask yourself  "what do I need today"? Not "what do i have to do today"? It all about how you ask the question not the answer to the question. We all have stuff to do every day it what you do with that day that makes the difference. I'm going to change the way I look at things starting today. Not everything we go thought is bad some time life puts us in situation to see how we deal with it. I can handle alot but sometime we all feel to broken to move. We should all go for a walk every day. Even if its a short walk just get up and move.  Remember drink more water, take time to eat, go for a walk, and get a good night's rest. Work on yourself, take care for yourself.

Freedom Of Speech

I have wrote 2 blogs that facebook said I was unable to share because of the title. Yesterday it was Monday after how is that bad. I didn't say morning after. That's not bad either. There are no swear words. The other one was on a Wednesday so I put hump day. Why is it ok to have that on TV, but I'm unable to write it in a blog. It not a nasty word unless you make it a nasty word. All I was saying is, it's the middle of the week and we are almost to Friday. Facebook or someone takes things to far. I never posted it on anyone's page only on our work page.  This is why we started Direct Primary Care so the government can't tell us what to do. They still get there cut of taxes, but that is all they get out of us. We are here for our patients not for insurance company. Not for the government to tell us how to take care of our patience. We live in the USA not in a dictatorship country. This why people are fed up. We are just trying to build up this practice. You nee...

Monday After

We all had a long weekend. I want to thank everyone that showed up to the West Branch Business Expo. It's so nice to see the community come together and support West Branch small businesses. We didn't have a lot of people sign up with us but that's ok. I was at a wedding this weekend so I was unable to go. Dr. Sally Sperbeck said they had about 200 people show up. I think it was because of the rain why a lot of people stayed home.  I sent out 15 Thank you letters for the one that showed up and put in for our drawing. We did have a winner. I called her this morning she was happy to know she won. We are thinking about doing a gift basket for the fair. I will be there by myself in August for the fair. We will have a booth on Wednesday the 17th. I hope we have more people that will stop over to see me.

love rain

Image
I love rainy days. It washes all the bad away and brings good to the world. Helps thing grow. Just as the rain brings a clean scent and new life, rain lovers also appreciate the cleansing renewal of a good cry. One of the pluviophiles favorite ways to spend a rainy day is snuggled up on the couch or in bed while watching a good tearjerker. More time indoors with the family watching movies or shows that we are just too busy to watch. Family is the biggest thing in my life sometimes they can drive you crazy, but the love is alway there.
